Let's Cook

    Fill a large pitcher half full with ice cubes.

    Pour 4 cups cranberry juice into the pitcher over the ice.

    Add 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 1 lemon) to the pitcher.

    Pour 2 cups sweet whiskey or bourbon into the pitcher.

    Add 4 cups ginger ale to the pitcher. Do not stir after adding the ingredients.

    Garnish the pitcher by adding lemon slices to the rim.

    Stir the punch just before serving, within 30 minutes of preparation.
