  • 118 ml honey

Prepare

  • 946 ml water, boiling
  • Valencia or Cara Cara orange, zest strips and juice
  • Meyer lemon, zest strips and juice
  • 237 ml vodka, chilled
  • lemon or orange slices, for garnish

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    In a large pitcher or glass measuring cup, combine 4 cups of boiling water and 4 tea bags (English Breakfast, Earl Grey, or similar). Steep according to package instructions, about 4 minutes.

  2. Step 2.

    Remove the tea bags and stir in the zest strips of 1 orange and 1 lemon, plus ½ cup honey. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.

  3. Step 3.

    Let the tea mixture cool to room temperature, about 1 hour. Then remove the citrus zests and refrigerate until cold, about 4 hours.

  4. Step 4.

    Stir in 1 cup chilled vodka and the juice of the orange and lemon.

  5. Step 5.

    To serve, fill six tall glasses with ice and pour a scant cup of the tea mixture into each glass. Garnish with citrus slices and serve.
