Step 1.
In a medium saucepan, stir together 1 cup long-grain wild rice, 4 cups beef bone broth, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, and ½ teaspoon kosher salt. Bring to a boil over high heat.

Reduce the heat to medium and simmer uncovered, stirring a few times, for about 1 hour, until the rice is just tender and beginning to split open.
