Frozen Sunrise Margaritas
A frozen cocktail blending tequila sunrise and margarita flavors with citrus and a refreshing tang. Rimmed with salt and garnished with orange and cherry.

- 4 orange slices for garnish
- 4 maraschino cherries for garnish

- 1 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup tequila
- 2 tbsp Cointreau or triple sec
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 3 cup crushed ice
- 1/4 cup grenadine
Prepare
- Margarita or coarse sea salt, for rimming glass
- 1 lime wedge, for rimming glass
- 4 orange slices, for garnish
- 4 maraschino cherries, for garnish

Step 1.
Spread a layer of salt in a shallow dish. Run a lime wedge around the rims of 4 highball glasses to moisten them, then dip each rim into the salt to coat.

In a blender, combine the frozen orange juice concentrate, orange juice, tequila, Cointreau or triple sec, and lime juice. Add the crushed ice and pulse until smooth. Divide the margarita evenly among the 4 salt-rimmed glasses.

Tilt each glass slightly and slowly pour 1 tablespoon of grenadine down the inside edge of the glass; the grenadine will sink to the bottom, creating a sunrise effect. Garnish each drink with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry, then serve immediately.
