A quick and flavorful fresh salsa made with jalapeño, onion, lime juice, and plum tomatoes. Perfect for dipping chips or topping tacos.

- 1 jalapeño seeded, finely chopped
- 0.25 small white onion finely chopped
- 14.8 ml fresh lime juice
- Kosher salt and pepper
- 227 g plum tomatoes halved, seeded and chopped
- 59.1 ml fresh cilantro leaves chopped
- Tortilla chips for serving

Step 1.
In a large bowl, combine the finely chopped jalapeño (seeded if desired) and finely chopped ¼ small white onion. Add 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, ¼ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper. Toss to coat, then let sit for 10 minutes to mellow the flavors.

After 10 minutes, add the halved, seeded, and chopped plum tomatoes to the bowl. Toss well to combine with the jalapeño-onion mixture.

Fold in the chopped fresh cilantro leaves until evenly distributed. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
