- 355 ml confectioners' sugar
- 59.1 ml unsweetened natural cocoa powder
- 29.6 ml milk of choice or water
- 9.86 ml vanilla extract
Let's Cook
-
Step 1.
In a medium bowl, sift together 1½ cups (180 grams) confectioners' sugar and ¼ cup (27 grams) unsweetened natural cocoa powder to remove any lumps.
-
Step 2.
Slowly stir in 2 tablespoons milk of choice or water and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, adding the liquid a little at a time, until the glaze is smooth and pourable. You may not need all the milk; stop when the glaze reaches a consistency that coats the back of a spoon.
-
Step 3.
Dip the top of each doughnut into the glaze, then gently shake off any excess. Let the glazed doughnuts rest on a wire rack until the glaze sets, about 5 to 10 minutes.
