Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

Puncture 6 to 8 holes into the 3 to 4 pound boneless pork butt roast and stuff each hole with a garlic clove. Carefully place the roast into a 6-quart slow cooker.

  2. Step 2.

Toss in 1 cup chopped green onions, then sprinkle 1 (0.75-ounce) package of ranch seasoning and 1 teaspoon ground black pepper all over the roast. Pour in 2 cups chicken broth. Set the slow cooker to high and cook for 2 hours.

  3. Step 3.

After 2 hours, add 1 pound baby carrots and 1 pound red potatoes (washed and chopped) to the slow cooker. Stir to combine, then cook for 2 more hours on high. Serve the pork and vegetables with the cooking liquid.
