Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    In a small bowl, combine 1 cup ketchup, the juice from 1 large lemon, 2 tablespoons horseradish sauce, and 1 teaspoon hot sauce. Stir until well blended.

    Season the sauce to taste with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper. If the sauce is too spicy, add a little more ketchup to mellow the flavor.

    Chill the cocktail sauce before serving. Store any leftover sauce in a lidded glass jar in the refrigerator; it will keep for up to 2 weeks.
