Let's Prepare

Collect

Gather these ingredients — no prep needed yet.

  • 14.8 ml white miso

Prepare

  • 14.8 ml olive oil, divided
  • 340 g small to medium radishes, trimmed and halved, leaves reserved
  • 14.8 ml unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • Sesame seeds, for serving

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

Preheat the oven to 450°F. Coat a rimmed baking sheet with ½ tablespoon olive oil, then add the trimmed and halved radishes, cut sides down, and drizzle with the remaining ½ tablespoon olive oil.

  2. Step 2.

Roast the radishes, rotating the baking sheet once, until they are golden brown on the bottoms, about 15 minutes.

  3. Step 3.

While the radishes roast, in a medium bowl, combine 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (at room temperature) and 1 tablespoon white miso. Mix until well blended.

  4. Step 4.

Remove the radishes from the oven and transfer them to the bowl with the miso-butter mixture. Toss until the radishes are well coated, then fold in 1 cup of reserved radish leaves.

  5. Step 5.

Serve the radishes sprinkled with sesame seeds.
