Meyer Lemon HOT Toddies WITH A KICK
A warming winter cocktail made with honey, bourbon, Meyer lemon juice, and a pinch of cayenne for a spicy kick.

Step 1.
In a small saucepan, combine 1½ cups water and ⅓ to ½ cup honey. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the honey.

Once the honey mixture is boiling, remove the saucepan from the heat. Add ¼ cup bourbon, ¼ cup freshly squeezed Meyer lemon juice (from about 1 large lemon), and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Whisk well to distribute the cayenne evenly.

Divide the hot toddy mixture between two 12-ounce mugs. Top each mug with a thin lemon slice and serve immediately.
