Panfry the Polish sausage on a flattop or in a large skillet over medium heat, turning occasionally, until heated through and browned on all sides, about 8 minutes.

While the sausage cooks, place finely chopped white onions on the flattop or in the skillet alongside the sausage. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft and translucent, about 8 minutes.

Place the cooked Polish sausage in a classic bun.
