Let's Prepare

Collect

Gather these ingredients - no prep needed yet.

  • liver, beef or chicken
  • 3 cup flour
  • 4 1/4 oz jar fresh minced or crushed garlic
  • 1/2 cup corn meal
  • 1 grated parmesan cheese

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Step 2.

Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, coat with cooking spray, and sprinkle lightly with corn meal. Set aside.

  3. Step 3.

In a food processor or blender, process 3 to 3½ lbs of liver (beef or chicken) and a 4.25 oz jar of fresh minced or crushed garlic until the mixture looks like milk chocolate.

  4. Step 4.

Pour the liver-garlic mixture into a large mixing bowl. Add 3 cups of flour, ½ cup of corn meal, and one medium shaker of grated Parmesan cheese. Blend until well combined.

  5. Step 5.

Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared cookie sheet. The mixture will be thick. Sprinkle lightly with corn meal on top.

  6. Step 6.

Bake until no pink is left, about 30 minutes for one pan. Then turn off the oven but leave the brownies inside until they are cool.

  7. Step 7.

    Cut into pieces and serve.
