Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick baking spray.

  2. Step 2.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.

  3. Step 3.

Pour in the half-and-half and ½ cup of the melted butter. Stir until the mixture is well combined and a soft dough forms.

  4. Step 4.

Fold in the shredded pepper jack cheese and minced garlic until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

  5. Step 5.

Using an ice cream scoop or tablespoon, scoop out the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 to 3 inches between each biscuit. Each scoop should be about 2 to 3 tablespoons.

  6. Step 6.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown on top and cooked through.

  7. Step 7.

While the biscuits are baking, in a small bowl, combine the remaining ¼ cup melted butter with the dried parsley flakes and mix well.

  8. Step 8.

As soon as the biscuits come out of the oven, brush the parsley butter mixture over the warm biscuits. Serve immediately.
