Step 1.
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Remove from heat, add 2 gallon-size green tea bags, and let steep for 20 minutes. Discard the tea bags.

Add ¼ cup honey and ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice to the warm tea. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved and well incorporated.

Pour the tea into a large freezer bag and seal tightly. Place the bag flat in the freezer and freeze for 1 hour, until the tea is slushy but not completely solid.

In a blender, combine the frozen tea from the bag with 4 cups of crushed ice. Blend on high until smooth and slushy, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Serve immediately in tall glasses.
