Let's Prepare

Collect

Gather these ingredients - no prep needed yet.

  • 113 g feta
  • 2 sprig fresh thyme
  • 4 lemon
  • 4.93 ml honey
  • 14.8 ml olive oil
  • Grilled bread

Prepare

  • 0.5 red chile, thinly sliced

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

Preheat a grill to medium heat.

  2. Step 2.

Place the 4 ounces of feta cheese in the center of a piece of aluminum foil large enough to wrap it completely.

  3. Step 3.

Top the feta with the thinly sliced ½ red chile, 2 sprigs of fresh thyme, 4 slices of lemon, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

  4. Step 4.

Fold the foil over the feta and toppings, then crimp the edges tightly to seal the packet.

  5. Step 5.

Place the foil packet on the grill, cover, and cook until the feta is warmed through and softened, about 5 minutes.

  6. Step 6.

Carefully remove the foil packet from the grill, open it, and serve the feta directly from the foil with grilled bread for dunking.
