  • 700 ml bourbon whiskey

  • 30 g fresh curry leaves, stalks and stems removed

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    Place the bourbon and fresh curry leaves in a mixing bowl, ensuring the leaves are fully submerged. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and let it steep at room temperature for 48 hours.

  2. Step 2.

    After 48 hours, strain the infused bourbon through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean container, discarding the curry leaves. Transfer the curry shoulder to an airtight bottle or jar and store in a cool, dark place for up to 2 months.
