Bruschetta
Bruschetta is a classic Italian appetizer featuring grilled bread rubbed with garlic and drizzled with olive oil, topped with a variety of fresh ingredients such as tomatoes, basil, or marinated vegetables.
Ingredients
- Thick slices crusty bread
- Garlic cloves
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Diced tomatoes and torn basil leaves
- Sardines or white anchovies, red pepper flakes, and arugula
- Grilled, sliced portobello mushrooms and shaved Parmesan
- Marinated artichoke hearts

- Burrata and jarred roasted red bell peppers
- Ricotta mixed with minced thyme, parsley, and lemon zest; and prosciutto or speck
- Coarse sea salt and black pepper to taste

Prepare a medium-hot grill fire or preheat the broiler. Grill or broil until golden brown on each side: Thick slices crusty bread
