Bloody MARY
1 serving When tequila takes the place of vodka in a Bloody Mary, it becomes a Bloody Maria; made with gin, it is a Ruddy Mary. A Bloody Mary without any alcohol is, of course, a Virgin Mary.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ ounces vodka or aquavit
- 6 ounces tomato juice
- (½ teaspoon prepared horseradish)
- 2 to 3 drops lemon juice, to taste
- 2 to 3 drops Worcestershire sauce, to taste
- Hot pepper sauce to taste
- Pinch of celery salt
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- A small celery stalk
- (A skewer of mixed pickles, such as cocktail onions, cornichons, pickled okra, pickled beets, etc.)
