Prepare

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    Make the dumpling dough according to the recipe. While the dough is resting, prepare the Balsamic-Soy Dipping Sauce and set aside.

    To make the filling, combine ground chicken, roughly diced shrimp, chopped basil, soy sauce, sesame oil, Shaoxing wine, chopped green onions, minced garlic, and minced ginger in a food processor. Pulse for 5 seconds at a time until well combined, scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula as needed. The ingredients should still be discernible, not pasty. Set the filling aside.

    Fill the dumpling wrappers with the prepared filling, following the instructions for making dumplings.

    Cook the dumplings by boiling, steaming, or panfrying according to the cooking dumplings instructions. Serve with the Balsamic-Soy Dipping Sauce.
