  • 1 Bound Bread Crumb or Cracker Coating
  • 1 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or Clarified Butter
  • Lemon wedges

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    Cut into ⅜-inch-thick steaks across the grain and pound, above: 1 pound abalone

  2. Step 2.

    Dip in: Bound Bread Crumb or Cracker Coating

  3. Step 3.

    Heat in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat: 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or Clarified Butter

  4. Step 4.

    Add the abalone and cook 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Serve garnished with: Lemon wedges
