Let's Cook
-
Step 1.
Pour 2 tablespoons kosher salt into a shallow dish. Rub the rims of two glasses with 1 of the lime wedges, then dip the rims into the salt to coat evenly.
-
Step 2.
In a cocktail shaker, add ¼ cup honey simple syrup and 4 thick slices fresh jalapeño. Using a muddler, gently press and twist the jalapeño slices until softened but still intact, about 30 seconds.
-
Step 3.
Fill the shaker half full with ice. Add ½ cup tequila and ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled and combined.
-
Step 4.
Divide the margarita mixture evenly between the two prepared glasses. Garnish each glass with a remaining lime wedge and a fresh jalapeño slice.
