Bavarian Apple AND Horseradish Sauce
¾ to 1 cup Delightfully simple, and a marvelous accompaniment for sausages, pork, beef, or fish.

- ⅓ cup grated peeled fresh or drained prepared horseradish
- ⅓ cup finely grated peeled tart green apple
- 2 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- (¼ cup sour cream or crème fraîche)
- 1 teaspoon minced parsley
- (1 teaspoon minced dill or chives)
