  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cup canned Italian-style plum tomatoes
  • 1 tomato paste
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp oregano

Prepare

  • Chop 1 cup onion

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    Saute onions in olive oil over medium heat until transparent.

  2. Step 2.

    Add remaining ingredients (except oregano) and stir. Simmer uncovered 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Step 3.

    Add oregano and continue to simmer for 15 minutes.

  4. Step 4.

    Remove bay leaf.

  5. Step 5.

    Spread over pizza dough.
