Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

Prepare extra-long buns, guacamole, and other from-scratch ingredients if using homemade.

  2. Step 2.

Panfry the chorizo and longaniza on a flattop or in a large skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through to 165°F, about 10 minutes, turning occasionally.

  3. Step 3.

While the sausages cook, slice an all-beef hot dog in half lengthwise and panfry on the flattop or in a skillet until heated through and lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. Step 4.

Cut an extra-long classic bun lengthwise into two equal halves, but do not separate completely.

  5. Step 5.

Place a slice of ham, a couple strips of cooked bacon, a few slices of pepperoni, and a 6-inch link each of cooked chorizo and longaniza into the bun.

  6. Step 6.

Add the cooked hot dog halves on top of the meats.

  7. Step 7.

Top with a smear each of mayonnaise, tomato sauce, yellow mustard, and hot sauce, then add a pile of guacamole and a pile of boiled cabbage.

  8. Step 8.

Attempt to smash the bun closed before eating.
