Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, and salt; mix well. stir in chocolate chips and raisins.
Drop dough, about 1 tablespoon for each cookie, 1 ½ inches apart onto prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool cookies on wire rack.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
