Let's Prepare

Collect

Gather these ingredients — no prep needed yet.

  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • 2 angostura bitters
  • 1 chocolate bitters
  • 2 oz Coconut-Infused Bourbon
  • Key lime twist
  • Orange twist
  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 oz honey syrup
  • Club soda
  • Lime wheel

Prepare

  • 1/2 oz fresh prickly pear, peeled and chopped

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

In an old-fashioned glass, muddle the coconut sugar, 2 dashes angostura bitters, and 1 dash chocolate bitters together for about 10 to 15 seconds until the sugar is dissolved and the bitters are incorporated.

  2. Step 2.

Add 2 ounces of Coconut-Infused Bourbon and one large ice cube to the glass. Stir the mixture gently but continuously until well chilled, about 20 to 30 seconds.

  3. Step 3.

Garnish the cocktail with a key lime twist and an orange twist, expressing the oils over the drink before dropping them in.

  4. Step 4.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine 2 ounces white rum, 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice, ½ ounce fresh prickly pear (peeled and chopped), and ½ ounce honey syrup (equal parts honey and purified water). Shake vigorously until well chilled, about 15 seconds.

  5. Step 5.

Strain the mixture into a stemless wineglass filled with fresh ice. Top with club soda to taste, and garnish with a floating lime wheel.
