  • 3/4 lbs unsweetened baking chocolate squares
  • 5 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour

Prepare

  • 2 cup margarine (oleo), in chunks
  • 8 eggs, large

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    Combine margarine and chocolate over low heat in 3-5 qt pan; stir until melted and blended. Remove from heat; add sugar, eggs, vanilla, and mix well.  Add flour and mix well.

  2. Step 2.

    Spread into a buttered 9X13 inch pan.

  3. Step 3.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 37 or 38 minutes.

  4. Step 4.

    Cool in pan on rack.

  5. Step 5.

    (Frost with “Chocolate Cherry Fudge Bar” topping if desired.)
