  • 3 tbsp honey
  • orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Prepare

  • Soften 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup wild cranberries, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, finely chopped

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened, and 3 tablespoons honey. Beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes, scraping down the bowl as needed.

  2. Step 2.

Add ½ cup finely chopped wild cranberries, ⅓ cup finely chopped walnuts, the zest from 1 orange, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, and ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon to the butter mixture. Mix on medium speed until all ingredients are evenly incorporated, about 1 minute.

  3. Step 3.

Transfer the cranberry-orange butter to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 1 month. Serve at room temperature on warm bread.
