Summer Fruit Salad

A refreshing summer fruit salad of peaches and berries, lightly sweetened with sugar and brightened with lemon juice. Serve chilled, with optional whipped cream and fresh herbs.

- 4 peaches (about 1½ pounds)
- 2 cups blueberries, blackberries, or a combination
- ¼ cup sugar, or to taste
- 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice, or to taste
- (2 tablespoons chopped mint, tarragon, or basil)

- 4 peaches (about 1½ pounds)

Step 1.
Peel, pit, and slice: 4 peaches (about 1½ pounds)

Place in a bowl and add: 2 cups blueberries, blackberries, or a combination; ¼ cup sugar, or to taste; 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice, or to taste

Stir gently and let sit, refrigerated, for at least 30 minutes. If desired, just before serving, stir in: (2 tablespoons chopped mint, tarragon, or basil)
