Let's Prepare

Collect

Gather these ingredients — no prep needed yet.

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Lemon slices

Prepare

  • 1 pink moscato, chilled

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring 1 cup water to a low boil. Add 1 cup sugar and whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let the simple syrup cool completely, about 15–20 minutes.

  2. Step 2.

While the syrup cools, juice 5 to 6 large lemons to get 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice. Strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp if desired.

  3. Step 3.

In a large pitcher, combine the chilled pink moscato, lemon juice, and cooled simple syrup. Stir well until fully combined. Refrigerate the lemonade until ready to serve, at least 30 minutes to chill thoroughly.

  4. Step 4.

When ready to serve, fill tall glasses with ice. Pour the lemonade over the ice and garnish each glass with a lemon slice, if using.
