Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a small frying pan over high heat until shimmering.

  2. Step 2.

Add the thinly sliced garlic and finely chopped red chilli to the hot oil. Sizzle gently for a few seconds until the garlic just begins to take on a hint of color, being careful not to burn it.

  3. Step 3.

Add the peeled prawns to the pan in a single layer. Cook for about 30 seconds, turning once, until the prawns are golden on the outside yet still moist and opaque inside.

  4. Step 4.

Remove the pan from the heat. Sprinkle the chopped flat-leaf parsley over the prawns and squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the top.

  5. Step 5.

Serve the prawns immediately while still sizzling hot, with crusty bread on the side.
