Nisha’s Quick Indian Ketchup
A quick and flavorful Indian-style ketchup made by blending store-bought ketchup with fresh coriander, garlic, and spices like cumin, chaat masala, and chili powder. Perfect as a dipping sauce or condiment.
Ingredients
- 1/3 lbs store-bought tomato ketchup
- 1 bunch fresh coriander/cilantro roughly chopped
- 2 clove garlic finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tbsp water

- 2 clove garlic, finely chopped

Step 1.
In a high-speed blender, combine 150g (5oz) store-bought tomato ketchup, a small bunch of fresh coriander (cilantro) leaves and stems roughly chopped, 2 finely chopped garlic cloves, ½ tsp ground cumin, ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper, ¼ tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp chaat masala, and 1 tbsp water.

Blitz everything together until the mixture is smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender if needed.

Taste the ketchup and adjust seasoning if desired, adding more salt, spice, or chaat masala to your preference.
