A simple maple glaze made with confectioners' sugar, maple syrup, and milk. Perfect for doughnuts or other pastries.

Step 1.
In a medium bowl, combine 1½ cups (180 grams) sifted confectioners' sugar and a pinch of kosher salt. Slowly stir in 2 tablespoons maple syrup and 2 tablespoons milk of choice or water, a little at a time, until you have a smooth, pourable glaze. You may not need all the milk; add just enough to reach the desired consistency.

Step 2.
Dip the top of each doughnut into the glaze, gently shaking to remove any excess. For an allover glaze, flip and dip the other side as well.

Allow the glaze to set on the doughnuts for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
