  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp minced yellow onion
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 lbs pork country ribs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Prepare

  • Vegetable oil, for greasing

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

Preheat the oven to 325°F. Lightly oil a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with vegetable oil and set aside.

  2. Step 2.

In a small bowl, combine ¼ cup yellow mustard, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 2 tablespoons minced yellow onion, 1½ tablespoons lemon pepper, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, and 2 teaspoons paprika. Stir until well mixed.

  3. Step 3.

Place 2 pounds pork country ribs in a large bowl or on a flat surface. Rub the mustard mixture all over the ribs, coating evenly. Transfer the ribs to the prepared baking dish and cover tightly with aluminum foil.

  4. Step 4.

Bake the covered ribs in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and carefully uncover.

  5. Step 5.

While the ribs are baking, in a small bowl or large cup, combine ¼ cup honey and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. After removing the ribs from the oven, pour the liquid from the bottom of the baking dish into the honey-cornstarch mixture and stir until smooth and lump-free.

  6. Step 6.

Pour the honey mixture evenly over the ribs. Return the dish to the oven, uncovered, and bake for another 1½ hours, basting the ribs every 30 minutes with the liquid from the bottom of the pan.

  7. Step 7.

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
