- 3 tea bags (black tea or flavored)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 cup cold water
Let's Cook
-
Step 1.
Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat. Once boiling, add 3 tea bags (black tea or flavored), reduce heat to low, and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove the saucepan from heat, cover with a lid, and let the tea steep for 10 minutes.
-
Step 2.
After steeping, remove the tea bags from the saucepan, squeezing them gently to extract excess liquid. Add ¾ cup granulated sugar to the warm tea and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
-
Step 3.
Pour the sweetened tea concentrate into a 1-gallon pitcher or jar. Add 6 cups of cold water and stir to combine. Fill the pitcher with ice cubes to chill and serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
