Let's Prepare

Collect

Gather these ingredients - no prep needed yet.

  • 10 g dried hibiscus flowers
  • 0.5 small cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp orange blossom water
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 0.5 lime
  • ice

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

In a large bowl, combine 10g dried hibiscus flowers, ½ small cinnamon stick, ½ tsp orange blossom water, 2 tbsp honey, the juice of ½ lime, and 500ml water. Stir well to mix.

  2. Step 2.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to infuse.

  3. Step 3.

After chilling, strain the tea through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher or serving vessel, pressing gently on the solids to extract all liquid. Taste and add more honey if a sweeter tea is desired.

  4. Step 4.

Serve the hibiscus tea over ice in glasses.
