Green Smoothie
1 or 2 servings Some green smoothies tend to be a tad… vegetal. We think of this pleasant and milder version as an entry-level green smoothie.
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed baby spinach or shredded deribbed kale
- 1 cup frozen mango, pineapple, or banana chunks
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, beverage-style coconut milk, coconut water, or water (or ½ cup plain yogurt plus ½ cup water)
- (½ avocado, pitted, peeled, and chopped)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup, honey, or agave syrup, or 2 pitted dried dates
- (1 teaspoon spirulina powder)
- Pinch of salt
