A high-protein breakfast calzone made with a wholemeal tortilla filled with cinnamon-spiced apples and a Greek yogurt-whey protein cream, then pan-cooked or air-fried until crisp. Served with extra protein cream and almond butter.

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    Cook diced apple with cinnamon, lemon and a splash of water until softened. Mix Greek yogurt, whey and vanilla into a thick protein cream. Place the apple mixture over half the tortilla and add half the protein cream. Fold into a semicircle and press the edges closed. Brush lightly with egg white. Cook in a non-stick pan until crisp on both sides, or air-fry at 190°C / 375°F for 7–9 minutes . Serve with the remaining protein cream and almond butter.
