Fruit Punch

A refreshing fruit punch combining black tea, citrus and noncitrus juices, crushed pineapple, and club soda. Served chilled over ice, it yields about twenty 6-ounce servings.
Ingredients
- 1 Simple Syrup, using 1 ¼ cups sugar and 1 ¼ cups water (opens in new tab)
- 2 ½ cups cooled strong black tea
- 2 ½ cups noncitrus juice, such as cherry, white grape, or strawberry
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup canned crushed pineapple
- 1 liter club soda or sparkling water, chilled

- 2 ½ cups cooled strong black tea

Step 1.
Prepare and pour into a large punch bowl: Simple Syrup, using 1 ¼ cups sugar and 1 ¼ cups water

Add: 2 ½ cups cooled strong black tea

Cool, then add: 2 ½ cups noncitrus juice, such as cherry, white grape, or strawberry; 2 cups orange juice; 1 cup lemon juice; 1 cup canned crushed pineapple

Add enough water to make 4 quarts of liquid. Chill for 1 hour. Immediately before serving, add: 1 liter club soda or sparkling water, chilled

Add ice and serve.
