- 1 sour cream
- 1 chocolate chips

Step 1.
Remove the sour cream from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before starting to let it come to room temperature.

Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth, or place the chips in a small pot set inside a larger pot of simmering water (double boiler) and stir until melted.

Let the melted chocolate cool for about 10 minutes, until it is no longer hot but still fluid.

Gradually add the room-temperature sour cream to the cooled chocolate, stirring well after each addition, until the icing is smooth and fully combined.
