Five 3-inch tartlets If you use the filling for Chess Pie, these are very much like Canadian butter tarts, which also sometimes contain walnuts, pecans, or raisins.

- 1 ½ recipe All-Butter Pie or Pastry Dough, or Sweet Dough for Tarts
- 1 Chess Pie or any variation
- 1 Whipped Cream

Step 1.
Prepare: ½ recipe All-Butter Pie or Pastry Dough, or Sweet Dough for Tarts

Step 2.
Line five 3-inch tartlet pans with the dough and bake as directed in the dough recipe or in About Blind Baking Crusts. Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F. Fill with the filling for: Chess Pie or any variation

Step 3.
Bake until set, about 20 minutes. When cool, top with: Whipped Cream
