Chesapeake BAY Seasoning
About ½ cup This recipe makes enough for boiling a dozen crabs, but we also use it for seasoning popcorn, French Fries, and Potato or Root Vegetable Chips.
Ingredients
- 10 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon white peppercorns
- 3 tablespoons celery salt
- 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- ⅛ teaspoon each ground mace or nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, cayenne pepper, and cloves
