Gather these ingredients - no prep needed yet.

  • 1 cup toasted chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafer cookies
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup bourbon

Let's Cook

  1. Step 1.

    In a large bowl, combine 1 cup toasted chopped pecans, 1½ cups crushed vanilla wafer cookies, ¾ cup powdered sugar, and 2 tbsp cocoa powder. Stir until evenly mixed.

  2. Step 2.

    Add 2 tbsp honey and ¼ cup bourbon to the dry mixture. Stir thoroughly with a spoon or spatula until the mixture is evenly moistened and holds together when pressed.

  3. Step 3.

    Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls (about 48 total). Place the balls on a baking sheet or plate.

  4. Step 4.

    Roll each ball in additional powdered sugar to coat evenly. Refrigerate the bourbon balls for at least 1 hour before serving to firm up.
