- 2 cups milk or nondairy milk

- ⅓ cup honey, maple syrup, or packed brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons (½ stick) melted butter or coconut oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- (1 teaspoon vanilla)
- ½ teaspoon salt
